Table Host FAQ
THANK YOU for your dedication to Alpha Center and for inviting guests who you believe will share our vision and partner with us financially! We have been praying for this event for months and are so excited that it’s nearly here.
In order to give you the most concise and helpful information possible, we have assembled the questions we get most frequently below.

Please join us for the Meet and Greet and plan to arrive from 5:00 - 5:15. The meet and greet will end promptly at 5:30.

Dinner will begin at 6:00 following an opening prayer. However, there will be salads at your table when you arrive, so please feel free to enjoy them once all your guests have arrived, even if this is before the opening prayer.

The dress code is business casual - think what you would wear to the office or to church.

If you didn't fill your table, you'll likely have a few folks at your table who are new faces! Please make them feel welcome and ask them how they are connected with Alpha Center and share why you support Alpha Center.

Table hosts park in the EAST lot and enter through the EAST foyer/mall area. The East lot is the one closest to the big playground.

Our goal is to raise $187,000 and have 100% audience participation in giving this year.

We do not have a formal "check in", however, you will pick up your place card in the main foyer. This card will show your name and your table assignment. You do not have to bring your tickets.

Your table host information packet will be at a table near the auditorium entrance. Please make sure to grab it as it has the information you'll need to collect donations from your guests and help make the gala a successful event!

When you registered, you may have seen that your registration was associated with a specific table number; this is not where your table will actually be. (We tried to take it off of eventbrite but were unable to do so.) We are still finalizing placement and numbers of tables and you will get the official table number and where it's located on the night of the gala.

The doors to the auditorium will open at 5:45 and dinner will start with a prayer (on stage by the emcee) at 6:00. There will be a plated salad and dinner rolls (not gluten-free) at your table that you can start eating as soon as you get there!

We will have giving cards placed in the programs and a QR code is also in the program. Guests can connect to the guest wifi and give online OR fill out the giving card and hand it back to you at the end of the night.
Even if your guests are planning to write a check, please make sure they fill out their contact information so that we are able to give them their tax receipt!
Make sure to pick up ALL giving cards and place them in your envelope before returning it to the giving table. With over 400 guests we don't want to miss anything!

We will wrap up the evening by 8:20, after the ask. We will begin to clean the room at this time. Please help your guests head home by 8:40.

Please take the floral arrangement in the center of your table or gift to a guest at your table!

The meet and greet with Darren is ONLY for table hosts and will begin at 5 PM and end at 5:30PM. This ensures you are ready to greet your guests by the time the doors open! The Meet and Greet will be held in the EAST foyer.
