Mastering Co-Regulation

November 10 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Co-regulation: The Ultimate Parenting Tool

This class is free to attend. Dinner and childcare during the class is provided. Registration is required. Both moms and dads are welcome!

In the early years, your calm is one of the most powerful tools you have. Babies and toddlers can’t settle their big feelings on their own. They learn to do it by borrowing steadiness from the caregivers who love them. This process is called co-regulation, and it lays the foundation for your child’s emotional development.

Join Lindsey Mullins, LPC, RPT™ to explore how co-regulation supports your child from newborn through toddlerhood and beyond. Together, we’ll look at what regulation and activation look like in little ones, how your support changes as your child grows, and how your own nervous system shapes the way you connect with your child. Through discussion, activities, and real-life scenarios, you’ll leave with practical tools you can use right away.

Participants will:

  • Gain a clear understanding of self-regulation and co-regulation
  • Learn to recognize their child’s cues and respond with confidence
  • Explore what co-regulation looks like at each developmental stage
  • Build a personal toolbox of strategies for challenging moments
  • Feel supported in being a good-enough parent

Lindsey Mullins is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist specializing in the neuroscience of parenting, attachment, and the child behaviors that make parenting feel hard. Lindsey uses the power of play to help children understand and express big emotions while equipping parents with practical tools to strengthen connection, respond to behavior with greater understanding, and support their child’s emotional development.
